Junior Interactive Producer/Project Manager

ExpandTheRoom LLC (ETR), a Manhattan based full service creative agency, is looking for a well-rounded, enthusiastic producer to join the team. At ETR you will have the opportunity to work with top tier clients including Us Magazine, Rolling Stone, NHL, ESPN, American Express, and NBC, just to name a few.

The right person for this position must be a team player who enjoys a fast-paced, deadline driven environment working with demanding clients and a number of creative teams. S/he must be a solution minded, proactive thinker dedicated to meeting our client’s goals and timelines and have a passion for learning and bettering ExpandTheRoom’s business overall. S/he need not apply if they have an ego or attitude that can’t be checked at the front door each morning.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of a project throughout its life cycle
• Assist in generating and managing project plans & schedules
• Assist in managing client relationship and internal teams
• Serve as main contact for clients
• Contribute problem solving solutions to every project
• Track projects in great detail through Basecamp, our project management software
• Communicate upcoming resource needs to the Associate Director of Production on a weekly basis
• Provide QA to all projects through-out the design, build and launch phases

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and iWork
• Conceptual understanding of web technologies including but not limited to HTML, Flash, and CMS frameworks
• Knowledge of most common browsers
• General passion of the interactive industry and a the desire to stay on top of emerging web technologies and trends
• Experience in the interactive space is a big plus
